Passport Trio: KBF Improvisation 2

An improvisation at the Butterbox Theatre, Kingston Butter Factory - very much experimental, using the combination of Shakuhachi (Francis Gilfedder), Flute (Karen Lonsdale) and Tabla (Ravi Singh). Our trio is known as "Passport"!

This is an example of how we can make create together, making beautiful sounds with modern and traditional instruments from different cultures.

With huge thanks to Nathan Roser, Technical & Production Supervisor, for the beautiful Lighting. I am so grateful for the huge support and assistance I have had from all of the tech crew at KBF this week. Thanks Francis Gilfedder for the use of his video camera, and the KBF for their shotgun microphones. Thanks very much also to Jordan from the tech team who assisted us with the video.

Massive thanks to Todd MacDonald (Performing Arts Programmer) who offered me the residency at KBF. Thanks also to Amie Parry (Bookings & Events Officer), Caroline Milford (Marketing and Digital Officer) and Chelsi Foskett (Projects Officer) from the Kingston Butter Factory/Logan City Council.
